Guests Clash In Fiery Debate On Whether Transport Workers Should Stop Striking| Good Morning Britain

In 2019 the government set out plans for a new law aimed at reducing disruption to passengers caused by rail strikes. Under the legislation, minimum services would have to be provided during walkouts by railway workers, with the threat of financial penalties. At the time the RMT union called the proposed law “a draconian measure which amounts to an attempt to ban transport workers from going on strike.”
So has the time come for the government to enact the proposal as law and even extend it to all travel as millions face a summer of chaos?
