California - Little Corona Beach and Tide Pools & Inspiration Point - 3.3.2023-3.7.2023

The next little montage from my California 2023 series is from Little Corona Beach in Newport Beach. Easy drive, right off PCH. I have never had any trouble finding free street parking right along the top of the cliff. The first thing you spot there is the vast, beautiful ocean, as far as the eye can see, from Inspiration Point. Below to the right, is Corona Del Mar Beach. We went there so many times as kids! To the left would be Little Corona Beach. This amazing place is down a fairly steep hill (by foot), but it only takes about 4 minutes to walk it, if you keep up a good pace. There are some stairs on the second half of it, as well as an actual public restroom. This beach has a huge area with tide pools and gorgeous rock formations. There are always big birds resting on the rocks and I am always captivated by the beautiful sailboats in the background. The tide was low when I was here, so there were lots of birds fishing in the pools. It is definitely worth stopping by this place, if you are in the area!
