Lord Dacre's 'Tomb' - Towton Battlefield Archaeology Project
A story entitled TOMB READERS from the BBC 'Inside Out'. television programme about the recording of the insciption on Lord Dacres Tomb, in Saxton Churchyard, Yorkshire. The team from the University of York, lead by archaeologist Tim Sutherland, used raking light in total darkness to read and record the 550 year old eroding text related to the Battle of Towton, 1461.
