Stop-Motion Transformation of MMC Ocular Max PS-06 Terraegis. This is a cool figure - I especially like how the hood collapses to become less bulky. This was the last figure I needed to complete the original 1984 Diaclone Autobot lineup. The only ones I have that are non-Takara are: MMC Sphinx (Mirage), Make Toys Downbeat (Jazz), Make Toys Gundog (Hound) and now MMC Terraegis (Trailbreaker). Hopefully, Takara will get around to the rest, but these are decent filler figures. I picked MMC over Badcube in this case because the Badcube figure seemed a bit overly complicated and I really liked MMC Sphinx, so I knew MMC had good quality. Now that the shoot is over, I’m totally switching to the alternate toy-accurate head that he came with because that’s how I remember him. Your assignment this week is to explain the name “Terraegis”. If no one gets it, I will edit later to offer my explanation. For those of you who own this figure: Yes, I totally cheated when swinging the side panels back to be calves - you do indeed have to tilt the feet a bit to make clearance, but I chose not to show it for the sake of artistic license. With minimal rubbing and minimal parts-parking.
