Stewart J. Cort main engine start

Starting the port outboard main engine on board the Stewart J Cort, 1000 foot, 105 foot wide cargo freighter. The front and rear sections of the ship was originally built in Mississippi and then shipped to Erie Pennsylvania where the midsection was built and the entire ship was assembled. The engine shown is a 20 cylinder EMD diesel engine started by air.
