The (Previous) Unfortunate Fate of Super Mario RPG (Prior to the Remake)

This video was made prior to the announcement of the Super Mario RPG remake on Switch, and thus represents the feelings of a fan *prior* to the remake's announcement, at the peak of frustration with the game's treatment.
Super Mario RPG was a game that changed the Mario series forever, giving the Mario universe some actual definition while also introducing a formula that makes turn-based RPGs fun. It's the reason why we got Paper Mario and Mario & Luigi to begin with.
