Prison City is a fast-paced 2D side-scrolling shooter. Players battle through levels using chakrams and grenades to defeat enemies and bosses. The game features retro-style visuals, a rocking soundtrack, and homages to classic 80s/90s action games and movies.

Players fight across 8+ levels set in zones like a freeway, factory, and nature preserve. Each zone has unique challenges and powerful bosses that test your skills.

The story takes place in a crumbling, evacuated Detroit converted into a mega-prison in 1995. Now in 1997 it's been infiltrated by an evil group. You play as a retired cop called back to duty to defeat the villains and restore Detroit's spirit.

With customizable gameplay, a competitive Boss Rush mode, and tons of unlockable upgrades, Prison City delivers non-stop retro action.
