Restoring a Country Cottage Style Coffee Table MM 187

Today we restore a Country or Cottage Style coffee table. The main damage was to the "hewn" top, which had been damaged by a puppy chewing on the corners. My original idea was to simply trim off the damage, then restore the original dimensions to the top using oak trim. However, this would have changed the look of the table top, which was solid oak with a hewn surface applied to the top. I therefore decided to trim the table top down, eliminating the damaged areas, then resize the frame to fit the new top.
