A clever little dog

There may be the following reasons why a puppy can climb up and down the bars of a cage:

- Flexible body: Puppies have a large range of joint movement and good body flexibility. They can easily make various bending and stretching movements, which makes it convenient for them to climb on the bars.

- Sharp claws: Puppies' claws are sharp and can grip the surface of the bars tightly, providing sufficient friction to prevent slipping and helping them maintain balance and stability on the bars.

- Strong curiosity: Puppies are innately curious and like to explore their surroundings. The bars of the cage are a novel "climbing frame" for them. In order to satisfy their curiosity, they will try to climb up and down on it.

- Full of energy: Puppies are usually full of vitality. If they lack sufficient opportunities for exercise and play, they will climb on the bars of the cage to burn off their excess energy.

- Imitative behavior: If a puppy sees other animals or its companions climbing on similar objects, it may imitate them and thus try to climb up and down the bars of the cage.
