Pottery Top Tip: How to Use Silicone Moulds & Bisque Sprigs in your Making. Pottery Video/Tutorial

Hello everyone - Welcome to my YouTube Channel - The Pottery Corner, coming to you from my studio in Chichester, on the South Coast of England. In this Top Tip Tuesday video I demonstrate how to use handmade sprig moulds and silicone (mostly cake) moulds to embellish your own pottery items. With the use of cornstarch or talcum powder, the clay is easily released from the mould and this can be simply attached with no trimming required if the excess clay is removed at the preparation stage. This prevents the texture on the mould being pressed out when applied to your work and leaves a clean design with no fingerprints!
