Bill Paxton's Iconic Career and Wrongful Death

Actor Bill Paxton cemented his place in the film industry with hit films like Apollo 13, Titanic, Twister and TV series Big Love. Bill considered his everyman looks his biggest asset and used it to bag offbeat characters that allowed him to prove his acting mettle. As his popularity grew as a character actor, he began getting more opportunities to play the lead roles. During the 80s, Paxton starred in several hit films, including The Terminator, Aliens and Weird Science. In 1992, the actor got his big break with One False Move. Thereafter, he starred in some of the most successful films of the decade including Apollo 13, Titanic and Twister. Between 2006 and 2011, Paxton starred in several TV shows. In 2017, he chose the Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre to undergo open-heart surgery. Ten days after surgery, the actor passed of complications related to the surgery. He was only 61 at the time.
