Time Current Curve Basics: Determining Circuit Breaker Trip Times
Every circuit breaker has a characteristic curve that reports the manner in which it trips. As this curve is reporting the amount of current vs time, it is aptly called a Time Current Curve. Learning to read these curves allows you the ability to quickly understand the tripping characteristics of the circuit breaker being reported by the Time Current Curve.
