HCA Florida North Florida Hospital's 50th Birthday Party and Family Day at the Santa Fe College Zoo

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital held its 50th Birthday Party and Family Day at the Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo to wrap up their 2023 Hospital and Nurses Week celebrations on Saturday, May 12, 2023. Colleagues and their families were invited to visit the zoo for free for the day and to also enjoy the hospital's 50th birthday cake to mark the historic occasion. Eric Lawson, chief executive officer of HCA Florida North Florida Hospital said, "It's important to celebrate our 50th anniversary because we have contributed so much to this community, not only in the last three years, but over the last 50 years. We've never stopped growing and expanding, and improving care for our community."

Christine Sharp, Human Resource Coordinator at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital, enjoyed the day with her family and shared her excitement over the hospital's 50th anniversary. "It's so cool to have such a big milestone and to be a part of it. You can look back and say, yeah, I was there when it turned 50th years old! It's very special."
