Dyeing My Hair Purple - Arctic Fox Purple Rain and Violet Dream

Dyeing my hair purple with Arctic Fox hair dyes! I used Arctic Fox Purple Rain and Violet Dream to dye my hair purple. Since my hair is quite dark naturally I lightened it first using L'oreal Quick Blue powder bleach and Super Star 20v creme developer. I used a roughly 1:1 ratio of powder to developer which was clearly much too thick- next time I'll make sure to use a 1:1.5 or even 1:2 and also get some help with applying the bleach to my dark hair!

For the color I mixed the Arctic Fox Purple Rain to Violet Dream at a 7:3 ratio for the upper half of my hair, and did Arctic Fox Violet Dream to Purple Rain at 7:3 for the bottom half. This didn't show up super clearly so in the future I might abandon the color mixing altogether and just use Purple Rain - Violet Dream directly. I also may consider adding conditioner to the dye to mute/dilute the color a bit next time, it did come out VERY vivid which is taking some getting used to! It still turned out pretty void-elfy though, which was of course the dream.
