The GOAT, Starring Buster Keaton (with music by Scott Watson) - Opening Scene "Teaser" (#1)

A new, original music score for the Buster Keaton silent film, THE GOAT (1921), was commissioned by the New Holland Band (New Holland, PA), Kenneth Laudermilch, Director. The music - for an 18-piece "theater ensemble" (see below) - is to be played LIVE, with a newly recut version of the film projected on a large screen! Here is a "teaser" featuring the opening of the film. Enjoy!

The theater ensemble for Scott Watson's score for THE GOAT consists of: 2 Flutes, 2 Clarinets, Alto Sax, Bassoon, Bass Clarinet, 2 Trumpets, French Horn, 2 Trombones, Tuba, 2 Violins*, Cello*, Percussion 1 (Drum Set) and Percussion 2 (Bells/Xylophone/Timpani). *Each string part may be covered by 1 or more players as desired.
