How to Crochet a Mini Bumble Bee

In this tutorial I will show you how to crochet this cute little Bumble Bee, a perfect size for a key chain. I have used standard Acrylic DK yarn & a 3mm crochet hook.

Mini Bumble Bee Pattern UK

Using the Yellow Yarn
Create a ML
Rd 1) 6 DC (6)
Rnd 2) INC each ST (12)
Rnd 3) *1 DC, INC *repeat to the end (18)
Rnd 4) 1 DC each ST (18)
Rnd 5) Change to black yarn. 1 DC each ST (18)
Rnd 6 & 7) Change to yellow yarn. 1 DC each ST (18)
Rnd 8) Change to black yarn. 1 DC each ST (18)
Rnd 9 & 10) Change to yellow yarn, 1 DC each ST (18)
Fix safety eyes if you are using them.
Rnd 11) *1 DC, INV DEC *repeat to the end (12)
Rnd 12) Stuff the bee with stuffing. INV DEC each ST (6), SS.
Tie off leaving a long tail and hand sew the circle closed.

Wings
CHN 2
Into the 2nd CHN from the hook, 1 DC, 1 HTC, 1 TC, 1 DTC, 1 TC, 1 HTC, 1 DC, SS, 1 DC, 1 HTC, 1 TC, 1 DTC, 1 TC, 1 HTC, 1 DC, SS.
Sew wings to the bee & attach the key chain if you are using one.

Using the Yellow Yarn
