Here are some steps to fix audio and sound issues on Xbox Series X:

Check that your TV audio is not muted and is at a reasonable volume. Ensure that your external or built-in TV speakers are properly connected and turned on.

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide. Select Profile & system - Settings - General - TV & display options. Select Video fidelity & overscan. Under Display, select HDMI.
