Me, Cath, Katie and Sasha the dog went on a hike that can only be accessed through an unusual illegal settlement. La Algameca Chica is a protected fishing village in Cartagena, Murcia, Spain. Its inhabitants are retired and there is no school or jobs there. It is mainly occupied during the summer months. No new houses are permitted, and although the current houses are protected, they can be renovated but not rebuilt.
