Kolb Mark III Classic: BMW R1100S powered

The aircraft was built and flown by Mike Richardson of Greenville, KY. The engine mounting was modified extensively to accept the 98 hp. fuel injected, computer controlled BMW which was adapted to a 3.47:1 gearbox for speed reduction of the model 283 (72") Kiev Hot Prop.
Other than the mounting, wiring harness adaptation, and the reduction drive adapter, it was a very easy and extremely simple installation compared to most others.
