LASIK - Femtolasik technique

In femtolasik technique, a femtosecond laser is used to create a hinged corneal flap that is lifted to correct the visual impairment.
The femtolasik method is precise and spare corneal tissues. The precision of laser enables pin point vaporization of tissues resulting in precise modification
of reflectivity and correction of vision. The margins of cut are regular and well defined.
The special feature of technique is that flap is created by laser and blade or other cutting tools are not involved thus labeled as bladeless technique.
Thus it reduces the complications of mechanical instruments or blade.
