Anilkumar Bolla, a 29-year-old Indian expat and IT professional from Bheemavaram, won the UAE Lottery’s record AED 100 million jackpot (approximately ₹240 crore) in October 2025. He became the first-ever winner of the lottery’s historic grand prize after matching all seven winning numbers in the 23rd Lucky Day Draw held on October 18, 2025. One of the numbers, 11, was chosen because it represented his mother’s birth month. The odds of winning were 1 in 8.8 million.

The win was officially confirmed by The UAE Lottery on October 27, 2025. A reveal video shared on X showed Anilkumar receiving a ceremonial cheque with golden confetti celebrations. Major media outlets including NDTV, Times of India, and Hindustan Times covered the story.

Anilkumar had been living in Abu Dhabi for around 18 months before winning. After the jackpot, he said he plans to buy a supercar, invest wisely, and bring his family to live with him in the UAE.
