📍Where is Split?
It’s a coastal city on the Adriatic Sea in southern Croatia — beach town, historic Roman ruins, and the perfect base for island hopping 🏛️⛵️

☀️ Best Time to Visit
Late May to early October = warm weather, swimmable beaches, and alllll the boat days. July-August = most crowded! We visited at the end of September and it was perfect!

🛏️ Where to Stay
Stay near the Old Town if you want walkability. We stayed right off the Riva about 5 minutes away (walking) from the Palace!

⚓️ Top Things to Do
Wander Diocletian’s Palace (an actual Roman palace you can explore!) 🏛️
Climb Marjan Hill and have lunch 🌳
Eat gelato on the Riva 🍦
Take a boat tour to Hvar, Pakleni Islands & the Blue Lagoon 🚤
Day trip to Krka National Park 🏞️
