'Somebody Pinch Me': Historic Hospital Gets Big Boost

On Tuesday, June 26, 2018, the National Trust for Historic Preservation added the Dr. Susan LaFlesche Picotte Memorial Hospital on the Omaha Indian Reservation in Nebraska to its list of 11 Most Endangered Historic Places. Those seeking to save the building are hopeful the designation will lead to more funding to restore it.
