Hiking Eagle Crag was an unforgettable experience! I highly recommend this scenic route, which features just a couple of short hands-on sections and mostly easy zigzagging terraces. Although the trail was unexpectedly boggy today and the descent was largely pathless, it was manageable with no steep gradients and easy stream crossings—even with a high water level. The final stretch offers stunning views that make the effort totally worth it. If you're looking for a rewarding Lake District hike, Eagle Crag is a great choice!
