The Little Mermaid: Deconstructing Transformation
As the title of the video says, today, I’m going to take a close look at the Little Mermaid, both Andersen’s fairytale and its Disney adaptation. I’ll examine how Ariel’s transformation works in both versions while discussing the thematic relevance of transformation and the symbolism behind it.
