Most people who follow the Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey use his famous debt snowball method for baby step #2.

This video shows a different approach to paying off your debt that isn't the debt avalanche or even some of the other methods more commonly used.

I go into detail on all the steps. The actual plan starts at 9:19
I learned this method several years ago listening to an audio CD by Robert and Kim Kiyosaki called how we got out of bad debt. We implemented it at one point and it made a huge impact. You can find it free online now.

I am coining the term "The Rich Dad Snowball Method" so y'all tell Robert and Kim if y'all see them that I want my credit!

I’ve read the total money makeover and while I like the plan overall, we are taking a different approach to baby step 2. We also will still be utilizing credit (responsibly just to maintain great credit scores) once we are debt free. Other than that we are following this plan.
