Testing a Tascam with Train Horns

---READ--- before commenting please :)
Recently acquired a new audio recorder which is a tascam DR-40 professional series recorder.
For 10+ years, I have been using a samsung SC-HMX20C camcorder I got for christmas. And for its age (2009) it puts out decent quality video. But it maybe time soon to upgrade (at least the audio)
This test is to see if there is a difference in which direction the microphones and to also hear a quality difference.
Also in this video, the recorder did not auto adjust the sound level (as compared to camera microphones, where the sound is auto-adjusted to accommodate for quiet and noisy areas, to all sound the same.
Kinda goes to show how loud these are but never compares to being there in person.
Next video set- set up auto adjust where I may get the best possible echo recording
Disclaimer: NOT FOR KIDS- doing this action is done at my own risk. Dealing with Genuine Locomotive Horns Such as Nathan Airchime and Leslie Controls produce extreme loudness and these horns do NOT comply with Local Laws and authority and this is A MISDEMEANOR. operating such devices WILL cause permanent hearing damage loss. Operate such horns at your own risk.
