Business Class on Taiwan High Speed Rail Train | Travip The Wanderlust

In my trip to Taiwan, I took 2 rides from Taipei to Taichung and Taichung to Zouying in Kaohsiung. It was amazing. From Taipei to Taichung I bought business class ticket. The business class car has 2-2 seat layout with decent legroom. Business class passengers are served snack with Taiwanese pineapple cake, hot coffee, water and apple juice. That was great!

From Taichung to Zuoying I bought economy class. Of course the legroom is smaller and the seats are in 2-3 layout. And there was no snack service for economy class passengers.

Taiwan High Speed Rail Train was first operated in January 2007 with 12 stations from Nangang, Taipei, Taoyuan to Taichung, Tainan, Zuoying in Kaohsiung. The maximum speed is 300km/h. Personally I think it's a bit shaky when running. Last year I traveled with Russian high speed train and it was smoother.
