Zero FX EV electric Enduro Motorcycle - Greenlaning on 2-wheeled Teslas //Jonny Smith

Hope you enjoy this 2-wheeled version of CarPervert. Or should that be BikePervert, because Jonny has wanted to cover this topic for ages now: Greenlaning on 'green' motorcycles.

Access to beautiful lesser used tracks and paths in the UK has fascinated Jonny since he did a feature on TV for Fifth Gear about 7 years ago, driving across the UK using only greenlanes in a (then new) Lada Niva. This episode tries to encourage people to use and discover green lanes near them, but also embrace the new breed of EV enduro motorbikes.

Zero is like the Tesla of the bike world - an American bike brand that in 10 years has gone from back yard cottage industry to large blue-chip zero emission motorcycle maker with 6-strong line up. The bike Jonny is riding is called a Zero FX and is a 100-mile 7.2kWh machine with the equivalent performance to a 350cc piston bike.

In this film Jonny explores the back roads and nature-rich greenlanes with two others - Jon Spencer of http://www.notyouraveragebikes.com and ex MCN (Motorcycle News) Editor and friend Marc Potter from Potski Media. Thanks to both chaps for supplying the bikes and helping on the day. Jon is riding a mildly modified Zero 2019 FXS, while for contrast Potski is astride a 2008 Yamaha WR250F.
