Median Nerve Glide | Slide, Don’t Stretch™ Series (Tingling in Thumb, Index & Middle Fingers Relief)

Median nerve irritation can cause tingling, numbness, or tightness in the thumb, index finger, or forearm. In this video, I demonstrate a gentle median nerve glide that helps improve nerve mobility without aggressive stretching.

This exercise is part of the Slide, Don’t Stretch™ Series, where we focus on safe nerve movement rather than forceful stretching.

Nerves function best when they slide and glide through surrounding tissues. Controlled movement may help reduce irritation and improve mobility.

In this video you will learn:

• What the median nerve does
• Why nerve gliding is different from stretching
• How to perform a safe median nerve glide
• Recommended repetitions and safety tips

This exercise may be helpful for people experiencing:

• Tingling or numbness in the thumb or index finger
• Forearm tightness
• Median nerve tension
• Early carpal tunnel–type symptoms

Always perform the movement slowly and within a pain-free range.
