Sir David Adjaye OBE receives the 2021 RIBA Royal Gold Medal

Celebrated architect Sir David Adjaye OBE was named the 2021 recipient of the RIBA Royal Gold Medal.

The Royal Gold Medal is approved personally by Her Majesty The Queen and is given to a person or group of people who have had a significant influence either directly or indirectly on the advancement of architecture.

In this film, hear from people who have worked with, studied alongside or been inspired by Sir David throughout his life and career. And watch as he is presented with the Royal Gold Medal by Iain Walker, British High Commissioner to Ghana.
