CJ PEREZ & JR BADONG ALONG WITH OTHER MCGI EXITERS: EXPOSING CORRUPTION INSIDE MCGI

The recent departure of CJ Perez—the grandson of Nicolas Perez, founder of Iglesia ng Dios Kay Kristo Hesus, Haligi at Suhay ng Katotohanan, and mentor to Bro. Eli Soriano—along with JR Badong, a longtime family helper of Daniel Razon for over 20 years without salary, has sent shockwaves through the Members Church of God International (MCGI) community. Their exits have shed light on the deep-rooted corruption, exploitation, and scandals within the church under the leadership of Daniel Razon.

For years, MCGI members remained devoted to the teachings of Bro. Eli Soriano, but as Razon took over leadership, many noticed a drastic shift. Former members have accused the new administration of:

🔴 Labor Exploitation – Longtime workers, like JR Badong, have dedicated decades of service to MCGI without fair compensation. Many others have come forward with similar stories of labor exploitation.

🔴 Fund Mismanagement & Corruption – Monetary donations, and church's business profits meant for the church’s mission, have allegedly been misused for personal gain by those in power.

🔴 Erasing Bro. Eli’s Teachings – Under Razon’s leadership, MCGI has undergone a complete rebranding, erasing much of Bro. Eli’s original doctrines and changing the core principles that long-time members once followed.

Because of these revelations, many members—including those who have been in the church for 20-30 years—have left or become “closeted members,” questioning the leadership but afraid to speak out.
