Adam Sommerville | Better than you can possibly imagine

'What if it could turn out better than you can possibly imagine.'

Words that are etched in Adam Sommerville's mind, and on his body, from what was the darkest moment of his life. Words that went on to change his perspective, and words that ultimately saved him from darkness.

In 2021 Adam felt he had no other option but to take his own life. He remembers sitting on a beach in the middle of the night, listening to the waves, and feeling nothing. It was at that moment that a notification on his phone popped up and pulled him away from the darkness.

A cry for help to the 1737 crisis line in New Zealand, was quickly responded to from a counsellor that went on to change Adam's path. What ensued was Adam being encouraged to set realistic micro goals for the next three days to try and change his mindset and give him something to look forward to.
