The minecraft movie trailer scares me

So the Minecraft movie trailer realised and well it’s beyond strange tbh. And already news articles are coming out saying the movie isn’t for us apparently dunno who it’s for then surely a movie about Minecraft should be for the people that play Minecraft but apparently not also why is jack black Steve like what was going on in that casting room as I really wanna know.
Also for some reason Warner bros want to make everything furry in the movie including creepers which is puzzling. But I’m not hopeful for this movie at all it seems a bit of a money grab but what movie isn’t these days
