Cholestasis occurs when bile acids in your liver slow down, pile up and leak into the blood stream during pregnancy. It is NOT harmful to the Mother but is HARMFUL to the BABY. It can cause stress to the baby, preterm birth and still birth. PLEASE LADIES !
