If you’re a big vinyl fan you’ll know few things compare to the simple pleasure of placing a favourite LP, EP or single onto your turntable, gently lowering the needle into the groove and letting your favourite music ring out – but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy your record collection on the go.

To copy your music onto a Windows computer you just need a record player with a USB port and a free piece of software called Audacity.
