Sports Photography Workshop - Northern California July 11 to July 15, 2023 with Peter Read Miller

Peter Read Miller brings his sports photography workshop back to Northern California from July 11 through July 15, 2023.

The workshop will include opportunities to shoot from the photo wells at the Oakland A’s/Minnesota Twins MLB game, shooting from the goal line at the San Jose Quakes/Portland Timbers MLS game, portrait and action lighting with the latest Westcott gear and a presentation by Kelley L. Cox-USA Today photographer and owner of the KLC fotos photo agency.

Teaching along with Peter will be Steve Fine, former Director of Photography for Sports Illustrated, who has looked at more sports photography than anyone else on the planet.

The Oakland A’s game will also feature a pregame dugout meet up with the legendary Michael Zagaris.

While the workshop is open to shooters of any camera system, Canon USA will be providing samples of their latest gear for students to shoot. Westcott Lighting will also be providing lighting gear.

Currently, spots are still open, and a discounted room rate at the workshop hotel, The Marriott Santa Clara available until June 13.
