Honeywell's RTP series, rotary position sensors offer non-contact operation with solid-state, Hall-effect technology. These products use a magnetically biased, Hall-effect integrated circuit to sense rotary movement of the actuator over a set operating range. The IC, together with conditioning and protection circuitry, is sealed in an IP69K-qualified, rugged package. The sensors also offer industry-standard AMP termination and 32 mm mounting pitch. Eight operating ranges up to 360° are tolerant to over-travel and allow use in most harsh transportation and industrial applications like large vehicle steering and pedals, bus and truck suspension, or boat engine tilt positions.
