Loretta Lynn's Childhood Home in Butcher Holler, Kentucky
"The Coal Miner's Daughter" Loretta Lynn's Butcher Holler Home in Van Lear, Kentucky in Appalachia is BACK OPEN FOR TOURS AGAIN!!!
Melody and I took a tour of the just re-opened Butcher Holler home of Loretta Lynn. It had been closed for over a year but recently open back for the season. It exceeded our expectations and we HIGHLY recommend making the trip to Van Lear, Kentucky in Johnson County, to see the home of the Coal Miner's Daughter. We were blessed with a tour from one of Loretta's nieces who was a very gracious and engaging host and also stopped at the famed Webb's Grocery store. We loved all our stops in Van Lear.
Thanks to our patrons!!!
