Omaha Beach D-Day Army Men WW2 Normandy Invasion

Kingwood Studios presents Omaha Beach D-Day Army Men Invasion. The first wave of American troops storm Omaha Beach as Germans rain artillery and machine gun fire upon them. This stop-motion film depicts one of history's most consequential and gut-wrenching battles. It was filmed using iKit Movie, Sony Movie Studio and Photoshop at 20 frames per second.

Omaha Beach is a landing area in Normandy, northern France, used by Allied forces in the WWII D-Day invasion on June 6, 1944.

Opposing the landings was the German 352nd Infantry Division. Of its 12,020 men, 6,800 were experienced combat troops, detailed to defend a 53-kilometer (33 mi) front. The German strategy was based on defeating any seaborne assault at the water line, and the defenses were mainly deployed in strongpoints along the coast.

Inspired by movies like Saving Private Ryan, Band of Brothers, The Longest Day, The Pacific, Platoon, Thin Red Line, The Lost Battalion, The Great Escape and A Bridge Too Far. And games like Call of Duty, Company of Heroes, Medal of Honor, Axis and Allies, Flames of War, Sarge's Heroes, Patton and World of Tanks.

Shot at 20 FPS in 15% Black and White color with contrast up 27%:
