Round the Mull of Kintyre

The CalMac ferry MV Loch Striven rounding the Mull of Kintyre on a good day in December. A few short clips stuck together of the sun setting over Ireland around 16:00 and a meeting with the Iona ferry Loch Buie just at the roughest point of the journey, the overfalls below the Kintyre light. The Buie is just out of dry dock heading for it's regular route from Mull to Iona and we're just on our way to dry dock for the annual refit.

Some three hours later we arrived at Campbelltown and tied up close to yet another CalMac ferry MV Hebridean Isles that was returning from her annual docking.

The last few seconds is the coastguard launching their RIB just ahead of us, I hope it was just a drill, not a nice night for a rescue :-(
