In Guizhou province, southern China, three people went missing after severe storms and hail, the provincial civil affairs department reported.
Unrelenting torrential rain and a hurricane have battered the province for six consecutive days, affecting over 120,000 residents and damaging 7,900 homes.
Approximately 7,600 people have been evacuated due to the extreme weather conditions.
Around 4,700 people required essential assistance from the government.
The ongoing severe weather has caused significant disruptions and damages in the region.
