Tanner Tessmann is an 18-year-old midfielder for FC Dallas. Haven't really paid much attention to him but he was good in his first 2 MLS games this season so I wanted to check him out. He's really good on the ball for such a tall player and is an excellent passer. He is always super calm on the ball and able to escape tricky situations to pick the right pass. He was very good for NTXSC last year. During the offseason, Tessmann was committed to Clemson to play soccer and kick for the football team. He eventually signed with FC Dallas though. I worry about his quickness in midfield. He knows how to use his body well but he is a little on the slower side so that may be an area of concern. But overall, technique, dribbling, passing are superb. A very interesting player.
