Context, I’ve been wanting to journey to American Samoa since I was 15 having innocently come across the territorial flag on a government website. Seen photos and became one of my first desired destinations of all my travels.

20 years later, travels become a reality ticking off Greece and New Zealand on that list. But once American Samoa was on the horizon, pandemics and personal injuries left the territory at arms length.

It wasn’t until this year, 2024, that I finally found my way in the very islands I innocently cyber discovered during the internets early days. Layered now with so many deeper and intricate levels of cultural immersion in the mix topped with filmaking. My time here is as wholesome, as wholesome gets! 💙
