Clear Skies at Last — Rig Session | Columbia, MO • April 8, 2026

Only about a 4-hour break in the clouds—so I’m going all in.

Bortle 7 skies (SQM 17.51), a bright 66% Moon rising at 1:30 A.M., and more clouds on the way… not ideal. But that’s astrophotography—you take the opportunity when it comes.

Tonight, I’m pushing this rig to capture nebulae, star clusters, and galaxies before the sky shuts down.
