Every light. Every camera. Every monitor.

This is a feature documentary we're producing about the '86 Mets World Series and our biggest crew the entire production has been six people total.

No massive team. No overcomplicated process.

Just clarity on what we needed before we ever walked through the door.

I used to show up to sets and figure it out as I went. Honestly it worked.. until it didn't. Nothing tied together. Every setup felt slightly different. The inconsistency was subtle but it was there.

Now most of the decisions are made before we touch a single piece of gear.

Lens. Light. Frame. Tone. All locked before we set foot on location.

It doesn't make the work easier exactly it just makes the execution feel clean.

And clean execution on a small team is the difference between looking amateur and looking like this.
