Silk Fabric Weaving Process in Power Loom

Silk is one of the most ancient and popular fabrics for apparel because of its unique properties. It’s a natural protein fiber which is obtained from the cocoons of the silkworm.
In this video I Will show you how the weaving process of silk fabric carry on.
Warping is the first step of silk waving process. In textile language; warping is defined as the parallel winding of yarn from cone or a suitable package on to a warp beam.
At first Silk yarn is loaded on the spinning wheel and transferred to a package is called spool. Every single yarn from the number of the spool are transfer into a warp drum. The important point in the warping is to preserve the yarn elongation and maintain it at uniform level.
And finally the drum is rewound to transfer the warp yarn sheet to form the weaver's beam .It is needed to confirm that , warp beam is make from good warp yarn otherwise weaving performance will be hampered.
