Kayak Fishing Minnesota's Deepest Inland Lake

The Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area has so much to offer. Not only did we camp there, but I got to explore some of the mine pit lakes as well. In this video, I am at the Portsmouth Mine Pit lake. It is the deepest inland lake in MN at 450 feet deep. The shoreline drops off steeply and the water is extremely clear, making it a very interesting lake to fish and just boat around on to see the sights.
