Germany’s Scholz Favors ‘Global Competition’ on Electric Vehicles
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz warned about actions that could harm domestic industries in the European Union as a result of an anti-subsidy investigation into Chinese electric vehicles. Scholz said it is best to not be “working protectionists” during a discussion with Bloomberg’s Stephanie Flanders at the Berlin Global Dialogue forum on Thursday.
