On Sunday, a strong rainstorm and thunderstorm struck Riyadh, causing flooding and inundating some valleys and roads.
Certain areas in Thadiq Governorate, north of Riyadh, experienced a significant rise in water levels due to the heavy rainfall.
The National Meteorology Center, in its report, forecasted the formation of rainy thunderclouds accompanied by active dust-raising winds.
Urging caution, the General Directorate of Civil Defence advised citizens and residents to steer clear of valleys and adhere to safety instructions.
Additionally, heavy to moderate rainfall was observed in several governorates of the Jazan region.
